Marine air, there is nothing quite like it in the world. It is the eagle on the globe and anchor of the Corps. Developed and flown by Marines whose mission in life is to support fellow Ma­rines on the ground, Marine air is another example of why your Corps is great.
“I had been the U.S. Outdoor National Champion in the 400-meter hurdles for three years in a row, from 1953 through 1955,” said Josh Culbreath, “and I had a military obligation to serve my country. I decided to enlist in the Marine Corps and arrived in boot camp at Parris Island [S.C.] on March 1, 1956.
